A spike by bank stocks and semiconductor issues helped the major equity averages overcome a sluggish start to set new two-year highs issues. .Support for the SPX remains at 1261 and then 1240, with resistance at 1298 and then 1313. Short term momentum still displays a negative divergence. Take a look all 1/5/15/60m chart if we want to trade this market.
